What does CTX Market stand for?
The design of the "CTX" intends to blend Texas's rich, rugged, independent history together with a heart, representing hope and evolution.
We realize that Central Texas is changing (fast!). Currently, we hear stories about how new people are flooding our Texas cities, that big tech firms are taking over Austin, and that it just makes sense to buy everything on Amazon.
CTXMarket.com is about challenging these stories. We believe the future of local businesses based in Central Texas is bright. That Central Texas culture will thrive for years to come, and that locally-owned technology companies like CTXMarket.com have a competitive edge that websites like Amazon, Etsy, and Facebook can't replicate: they're not here.
While Texas may be changing, there's one thing that is unlikely to ever change about Texas: we're independent.

CTXMarket.com is challenging major e-commerce platforms like Amazon by carving out a piece of the online retail market share and, therefore, providing Central Texans a platform that offers the same advantages presented by e-commerce in a way that fuels our local economy and community.
By providing and facilitating the digital transformation of brick and mortar shops and bringing together thousands of local sellers and buyers all on one platform, we build stronger ties through our community by allowing physical and digital spaces to benefit from one another.
How is equity crowdfunding different from Kickstarter?

Who runs the company?
CTXMarket.com was co-founded by two brothers and Austinites, Davis (CEO) and Patton (CTO) Jones. Combined, they have successfully launched and grown two startups.
